THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE BIOLOGICAL AND NON-BIOLOGICAL FATHERS
by Larry PattersonFather's Day is a day of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. I did not have the pleasure of growing up with a father, due to his passing away when I was younger, but my wonderful mother ensured that I had good, strong, and positive male role models in my life. And with that being said, I have a lot of gratitude to all of the men who have and continue to help mentor today youth. Especially the young men in our society. There are a multitude of parents within our world, who do not exactly want to become or parents so others to the honorable thing by stepping up to the plate of responsibility. The responsibility of ensuring that their family and other families remain safe, physically fit, and how to maintain a household. Also thank you to the fathers who have taught, and continue to teach the simple 101 principles of wealth to their children, and others as well.
If you’ve ever read the book by Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad, Poor Dad, there were multiple financial lessons to learn from this book. However, for the purposes for this blog the number one lesson to take from Mr. Kiyosaki book and life and that there is nothing wrong with taking advice and learning lessons from two different male perspectives. Those lessons were that Mr. Kiyosaki had the pleasure of obtaining as a child was solid advice, and being raised by two different fathers. Mr. Kiyosaki biological poor father taught him how to become an effective employee, work hard to raise your family, obtain a good-paying job, pay your taxes on time, etc. Mr. Kiyosaki other rich non-biological father taught him another philosophy when it comes to life, and financial principles.
To quote the actual book Rich Dad Poor Dad is about Robert Kiyosaki and his two dads—his real father (poor dad) and the father of his best friend (rich dad)—and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. You don't need to earn a high income to be rich. Rich people make money work for them. Mr. Kiyosaki rich dad was actually his best friend father who took the time and effort to teach him the principles of wealth. In a sense even though Mr. Kiyosaki had the pleasure of having both his mother and father in his life, he had the opportunity to have a third party help him during his childhood. Today Mr. Robert Kiyosaki is the founder of Rich Global LLC and the Rich Dad Company, a private financial education company that provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos. The company's main revenues come from franchisees of the Rich Dad seminars that are conducted by independent individuals using Kiyosaki's brand name for a fee. Now with the right parenting, and the right mindset, children can go places that none of us could ever imagine. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY everyone! Once again, thank you to the biological, and non-biological fathers who do their best to take care of and raise their families.
